MONBAZILLAC

The vineyards of Monbazillac produce rich sweet wines from grapes affected with "Noble Rot" (Botrytis). The soil (calcarous clay) is responsible for bringing intense aromas and a complex and powerful structure in the wines. However the overall quality is uneven, therefore the reputation of the producer is crucial.
